Curriculum

The Department of General Education is responsible for providing the general education for students from the bachelor and pre-university programs.

 1.      The general education for undergraduate students includes the following six areas (totaling 42 credits in general):

 Ø   University English (12 credits)

 Ø   University Chinese (3 credits)

 Ø   University Mathematics (3 credits)

 Ø   General Education (16 credits)

 Ø   Physical Education (2 credits)

 Ø   Cross-faculty Electives (6 credits)

 

Note: Certain undergraduate programs will have slightly different general education curriculum structure.


 2.      The university’s Pre-University program is a full time program with a normal duration of one academic year. Students are required to complete a total of 53 credits, including subjects such as Chinese, English, Mathematics, Information Technology, Physical Education, General Education and Introduction to University Studies. Upon completion of the prescribed study plan and achieving passing grades in all subjects, students can directly apply for admission to undergraduate programs at this university.
