Macau University of Science and Technology is a pioneer in implementing general education in Macau. Since 2003, the University has formulated a characteristic general education program comprising natural sciences, humanities and arts and social sciences, as well as master lecture series such as Masters Series of Science and Technology, Ambassadorial Lecture Series, Macao Society and Culture Lecture Series, Art Talks and other unique classic courses.

The Department of General Education will continue to enhance the general education curriculum, open up a treasure trove of knowledge through diversified general education courses, broaden the horizons and knowledge of students, and further enhance personal cultural accomplishment and quality. We hope to strive to cultivate talents with professional knowledge and skills while also cultivating socially responsible citizens.
